Fashion, Gas Masks & Eric Dane

Last Thursday night, I went in the city for a fun night of friends, fashion and dinner with my husband.  My dear friend Amy Rosi was handling the PR for a new show on TNT called The Last Ship Experience starring Eric Dane and Rhona Mitra. The event was held at DIA and featured an exhibit on gas masks as interpreted by several different artists.  Kind of creepy but a creative way to talk about the show.

Produced by Michael Bay, it is a futuristic show about a post apocalyptic about a deadly virus.  The stars were on hand for the launch and the highlight of the night was a fashion show by German designer Irene Luft who had recently launched an entire collection with models wearing elaborate gas masks.

The amazing thing about New York City is that there are so many creative events going on during any given week, even Eric Dane remarked that he didn't think that a whole exhibit and fashion show based on gas masks could work but wow, was it ever cool.  Check out more pics from the event including photos of the stars and more...http://www.patrickmcmullan.com/site/event_detail.aspx?eid=47465

Headpieces were wild but it really made you focus on the dresses
