Shopping, Smiles & Celebration to Benefit Operation Smile

On November 12, 2013, my friends Sara Allard, Nicole Enslein & Cristin Marandino hosted a Ladies Night of Shopping and Smiles to benefit Operation Smile at Splurge & Vinoteca in Greenwich.  It was such a great night with more than 80 women in attendance.  The evening began with a night of shopping at Splurge boutique and was followed by dinner at Vinoteca.

Vinoteca is a gorgeous new restaurant in Greenwich that serves incredible wine and food in a fun, European atmosphere.  It was the perfect venue for our event and they generously donated 20% of the evening's food and beverage to Operation Smile.   The evening was hosted by three wonderful women to celebrate my being named Best Health Advocate by Moffly Media's for their Light a Fire Awards honorees in the November issues of their magazines including Greenwich Magazine.

Before dinner, I gave a presentation called #triggerhappiness about my family's journey, how we can learn to trigger our own happiness everyday and how we all need to be kind.   I shared how we became involved with Operation Smile and launched the Three Little Bears program www.operationsmile.org/bears and what a difference it had made in our lives.   There were so many lovely women there and we raised $20,000 for the evening.   Thank you to everyone who supported the evening and our bears program.  #triggerhappiness
