Tuesday on the Exclusive is all about fashion and in New York City this week, Fashion Week is kicking off and there will be lots of fashion news but here's what I'm loving right now! Have a great week!
Want to start a party on your arm? My current obsession is blue faced time pieces. Tinted watch faces add some trend to your wardrobe and look chic at the same time. This one is from Michael Kors and won't break the bank $180.
It's Giving Tuesday, so that means it's time to shine a spotlight on one great product or company that you gives you something to crave but also cares. This week's Gift That Gives Back pays homage to my hometown San Francisco and one of my family's favorite bands -- Train. Save Me San Francisco Wine company is a company started by the members of Grammy winning recording artists Train and feature five great varietals and a partnership with Ghiradelli Chocolate for three great chocolate bars.
The proceeds from the sales of these products benefit Family House, a non profit organization providing temporary housing to families who have patients at University of California San Francisco Children's Hospital. For so many families, the cost of housing during medical procedures or treatments can be overwhelming and of course, are not covered by insurance. Organizations like Family House allow families to stay close by and give them one less thing to worry about when they have a loved one in the hospital.
We were lucky enough to meet Pat Monahan and the guys from Train two years ago and see one of the concerts. A close family friend of ours has worked with Train for years and we got to see them backstage and take a quick photo. They are warm and geniune and it was a pleasure to meet them. It is wonderful to see them giving back to the community and I hope you will support their efforts by buying some chocolate or wine. You can either buy online or put in your zip code to say where you can find it. Below are the links for Save Me San Francisco. Happy #giving!
