I saw this segment on a for profit company called Greystone Bakery on the Today Show yesterday that was so cool I wanted to share with everyone. The company (which make brownies and I love brownies) hires people who are down on their luck and helps them get back on their feet. They don't do this by giving them a free ride but a job no questions asked about their past and a chance to start over. It is incredibly heart warming and really makes you think about how we all need a second chance in life. Greystone is a socially responsible businesss with 90 employees, a model for being part of a community and giving back simply by giving people a job. Check them out and check out their brownies.
